The Foundation strives to be as flexible and sensitive to the needs of local organizations as possible.

Priority is given to Lowell-based organizations or to organizations with strong ties to Lowell.

Mini-grant requests have a maximum of $7500. Regular grants fall within the range of $10,000 to $50,000.

Multi-year grants are mainly capital improvement grants.

Organizations that receive funding are required to wait two years from the date of the grant award and after the final reporting on the grant has been submitted. Organizations who are denied funding are required to wait one full calendar year until applying again.
